Lewis & Clark Abate Member Meeting Minutes

                                                  Oct 4th, 2025

34 Members and guests present.All recited thePledge of Allegiance with a  Moment of Silence for our departed brothers and sisters.

The meeting began at 3:03 pm.

Pres - John  The Yankton Contact Center presented Lewis And Clark Abate a certificate for supporter of the year.

If any member would like to post something on our Facebook page contact Wayne to make it shareable.

Treasurer - John gave the Financial report in Dez’s absence, also stated that the online store has shut down due to no orders.

Membership Coordinator - Justin gave the new number for total members. 154 total members with 0 renewals and 9 expired.. Also stated that dues reminders are going out in the form of postcards and seems to be working better than a text message.

Road Captain - Justin talked on the last poker run we had 61 entries and the proceeds went to Jo for medical expenses.

State Rep. - Lenny stated that Dept has updated their website and also they are looking into a new printer.

Need help with the Share the Road program getting it into the schools, possibly the Drivers Ed program, Lenny has the information.

Motion made by Leslie second by Chris to make a donation to our State Legislators, motion carried.

New Business - First round of nominations for the 2026 yr were held with no nominations.

We have raffle tickets now and Grant has them.  This raffle will be a cash raffle. If you want to help sell them contact Grant. Drawing will be held on Jan 3 at our regular mtg

Motion by Chris second by Corey to make 2 donations for medical expenses for 2 little girls

One is 7mo old and battling leukemia the other was hit by a car going to school.
