Member Meeting Minutes 2026

LEWIS AND CLARK ABATE MINUTES

January 3, 2026

The meeting opened at 2:00pm with 50 members present, all recited the Pledge Of Allegiance and took a moment of silence for our departed brothers and sisters. 

John started the meeting by passing around thank you cards from our recent donation recipients.

Discussed moving the May Poker Run to May 30th all approved.

September Poker Run tentatively set for September 19th, more info to come in the following months.

Some talk of possibly adding a 3rd Poker Run.

Need volunteers for the VFW breakfast on March 1st and November 1st.

Marcia gave some different ideas for fundraisers instead of a raffle all the time.

Chapter chili feed will be right after the February meeting on the 7th.

Dez gave the Financial Report.

Justin gave the membership report stating we have 142 members with 1 new 22 that renewed and 0 expired.

All raffle tickets were turned in and we had the drawing.

USVMC chili feed and bingo at the Hayshed in Gayville on February 21, chili feed at 5:00pm with bingo starting at 7:00pm
