Member Meeting Minutes 2026

LEWIS AND CLARK ABATE MINUTES 

May 2nd, 2026 

The meeting opened at 2:06pm with 48 members present, all recited the Pledge Of Allegiance and took a moment of silence for our departed brothers and sisters.

John-

Opened the meeting by introducing candidates running for various offices.

Lauren Nelson running for Dist 18 State Senate.

Julie Auch running for House of Representatives.

Laura Kotalik running for County Auditor.   

Poker Run will be May 30th looking for volunteers to help with it. 

May is also Motorcycle Awareness Month.

Also talked on moving the July meeting as this lands on the 4th of July, motion made by Mike second by Lynn to move to the 11th of July motion carried.

Mike talked more about the tattoo contest during Rock n Rumble. Suggesting 3 places and having a color and black/grey categories.

Dez- Gave the Financial Report and distributed the  apparel to those that had ordered.

Justin- Gave the membership report with 128 members 4 new 6 renewed and 1 expired.

Lenny- Talked about the yard signs and the cost of them for any member that wanted them. 

There is an Alternate State Representative position at the State level if anybody is interested. 

Mic will be grilling for us for a ABATE appreciation after the June meeting.

Road Captain Justin mentioned that the Mayfield Store stop on the May Poker Run is cash only.

Congratulations to  Mike 1yr free membership. And to Alex for winning the 50/50 which he donated back.

Motion made by Jeremy second by Matt  to adjourn the meeting at 2:50
